Over the first several years of raising alpacas and using a variety of alpaca-feed recipes and manufactured products recommended to us by other breeders, we were very concerned with some health issues we were seeing in our herd. Choke problems continued to be an issue with everything we offered. We also noticed that the popular manufactured feed we were using appeared to look different with every new shipment. After hearing about Dynamite from other alpaca breeders, including Diane Cribley, our Dynamite distributor, we decided to try it. Diane was very knowledgeable about alpaca nutrition and about Dynamite’s Alpaca Supplement and the other Dynamite supplemental products. We were very pleased at how well our herd adjusted to the new feed. But more importantly, we immediately saw a major decrease in the number of feed chokes we had been seeing with other feeds.
